Day 1 -- Location: San Salvador

Dum, dee, dum...well here I am on a Saturday night at the Sheraton Presidente in San Salvador. There's a wedding party going on down by the pool, so I've got the TV and the AC cranked to try and drown out the sad, annoying band.

I've been here for 2 weeks so far. Was staying at the Hilton Princess until yesterday, but as nice as it was, there was absolutely nothing to do. There is a lot more choice here. The pool, the putting green, the cafe outside. Oh and a balcony. Must not forget that. When I came here to look at this place last week, I asked if I could get a table and chairs put on the balcony like I saw on their website. So they put it in today. And she's a beaut. It's a banquet table and chairs. Even has the fancy tablecloth. Looks like I could have sub-committee meetings or the like out there. May lead to that eventually.

The rooms here are smaller and not as swanky as the Hilton, but the rate is much better, and there's a lot more included. Except WiFi. I am tied to a cable in my room like it's the 1800's or something. Some skilful furniture arranging on my part and now at least I'm able to sit my duff down in front of the tely and type. So here I be. TTFN (Ta Ta For Now).
